the YOGA place is located in the California Market Center in Downtown LA's Fashion District. tYp began with just 10 classes, 1 instructor and the idea to make yoga in downtown Los Angeles accessible and mostly affordable for everyone. That idea turned into a vision to build the studio for the community, and with them, working toward creating a foundation. When time to step into real growth arrived, an online survey was created to give the community a voice. A new schedule was built based on their wants and needs. Soon after, incredible instructors who held the same love and passion for yoga were found. In Spring 2011, the vision turned into reality. We are dedicated to sharing the gift of yoga with the Downtown LA community. Your voice will always be heard so we can continue to grow together.

 

I'm not here to convince you that yoga will change your life. It may or may not. However, I do know it can help a person lead a better quality of life. I do believe that life is a gift and it's important to take care of the life we've been given. By taking time to clear our minds, this will alow us to live through service. I figure, you really have nothing to lose by opening yourself up to something new... you never know what you might learn.

 

We tYp instructors give thanks to the instructors who guide us, and to our students who allow us to share what we love. It is because of you that we are able to give the gift of yoga.
