Yoga has been the constant in my life for nearly a decade; the one thing that I always came back to and was forever interested in. Yet, it took me several years and a series of unfortunate events to realize (or allow myself to consider) that what I really wanted in life was Yoga. I wanted to study it, teach it, practice it and most importantly, live it. Despite what I believed at the time, it was that easy: if I wanted to do something, I could just do it. I didn’t need to worry about how, when and where; I just needed to allow my passion for it and drive to have it to lead me. So, I quit my career as a commercial real estate broker and enrolled in a Teacher Training. Now, I am certified in Ayurvedic yoga, modern vinyasa flow style and kids yoga. I train weekly in Ojai, on the path to becoming an Ayurvedic doctor. And I’ve dedicated my life and future to passing along the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda. If you knew me five years ago, you’d think I was stranger now.
I am passionate about animals and sit on the board of a local dog rescue organization called The Forgotten Dog Foundation. My two little rescue doggies were one of the best things to ever happen me. When I’m not teaching Yoga or practicing Ayurveda, I love to spend time cooking, reading and being with friends. I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing community!
